Power Design Cabinets and Enclosures
Power Design Inc manufactures fiberglass 15KV, 25KV and 35KV sectionalizing cabinets, pad mounted switchgear, primary metering enclosures and fiberglass buildings.
We provide quality fiberglass products to underground, electrical, water, wind energy, wastewater and related industries. Our customers include investor owned utilities, electrical co-ops, electrical distributors engineering firms, and contractors. CABLE JUNCTION PEDESTALS
Power Design fiberglass sectionalizing cabinets are made with fire retardant fiberglass and protected with UV stabilized gelcoat. Our cabinets are offered in single, two and three phase, and direct buried or padmounted configurations. Optional 15/25/35 KV 2-Way. 3-Way, 4-Way, 5-Way and 6-Way junctions are also offered.

STANDARD DESIGN FEATURES
- UNIQUE STEP DESIGN for additional strength in ground.
- GROUND LUGS are standard on mounting plate and accommodates up to 4/0 stranded wire. Special arrangements available upon request.
- JUNCTION MOUNTING is available with parking clips above, below, slant, or in-line on 3Ø units. Parking clips are mounted below or in-line on 1Ø units.
- REMOVABLE TOP in the "full open" position by use of stainless steel slip joint hinges.
- ADJUSTABLE PARKING STANDS on 3Ø units for minimum cable movement.
PADMOUNTED ENCLOSURES
Power Design's Padmounted Enclosures are made with fire retardant fiberglass and protected with UV stabilized gelcoat. Our enclosures are offered in a variety of sizes and door configurations. Options such as foam insulation, heaters w/thermostat, special louvers, and lights are also offered.
STANDARD DESIGN FEATURES
- LIFTOFF DESIGN allows enclosures to be removed without disturbing enclosed equipment.
- ENCLOSURE COLOR can be specified to match project requirements.
- VENTILATION LOUVERS located high on one side and low on the other side provide " chimney" effect.
- INTERNAL MOUNTING FLANGE completely around base adds structural integrity.
- INNER DOORS when live front equipment is enclosed.
PADMOUNTED SWITCHGEAR
Power Design offers a wide range of common components that are packaged in pre-engineered designs utilizing air, oil, SF6 and vacuum. Our switchgear and enclosures meet all applicable NEC, ANSI, IEEE, and NEMA standards

- · CUSTOM ENGINEERED DESIGNS allows modification of standard units to special fault interrupting units with SCADA controls

MODULAR ENCLOSURES
Power Design Modular Enclosures are made with fire retardant fiberglass and protected with UV stabilized gelcoat. Our fiberglass buildings are offered in various widths ranging from 48" to 120, and configurations. Optional equipment such as foam insulation, air conditioning, heater w/thermostats and fluorescent lights are also offered.
STANDARD DESIGN FEATURES
- EXPANDABLE in length and height.
- ACCESS DOOR location, quantity and size can be specified.
- INTERNAL SEAMS are bolted and sealed for strength and water integrity.
- LIFT OFF DESIGN allows modular enclosures to be removed without disturbing enclosed equipment.
